With Cataclysm coming out December 7th I don’t feel like I have a whole lot left to do in WoW so I am taking downtime from raiding and such. Not to mention I accidentally let my time card run out today.

I am very close to having one 80 of each class, my two slackers are my 78 prot/ret pally and my 77 demonology warlock. Those will probably get leveled before the Cata release. I have at least one of every profession maxed out in preparation for Cata. Gold is a little pointless unless I decide to build choppers for my collection of alts. So essentially my plan is to slack off and participate in the holiday events and pre cata events. I am not going for gear as that will all be replaced with dungeon blues very shortly.

I do feel like I didn’t get the most of this expansion though. The whole plot really was building up to killing the Lich King and I haven’t even seen that fight. As a casual guild with fairly competent raiders I expected to be killing the Lich King late in the life of the expansion but not missing out on the fight entirely. Unfortunately a stream of drama and attendance issues essentially killed the raid group. When Cata releases we will essentially have to build the raid group up from about 5 or so reliable people and consider recruiting a few new guild members. With the changes to the raid lockout system and raid loot pools in 10/25 man things seem to be in favor of us reattempting our original plan of a small friends/family guild with a raiding element.

So here’s looking forward to Cataclysm.

I quit

I don’t like who I am with WoW so I’m going to try living without it, goodbye all.

RE: Alpha Protocol

Removed my previous post on Alpha Protocol, didn’t think the language usage fit the rest of the blog.  Still think the game is a total waste of money. The upside EB Games took it at trade value for 20 bucks…which is about 19 more than it’s worth and Fleurr got Dragon Age, which she really enjoys.
